The museum exhibits the jewels of its valuable collection linked to its hundred year old history. More than 1000 pieces and 900 videos selected from the museum’s archive are presented in a museum tour that picks apart the history of Athletic Club and highlights a collective legacy.
These are some of the unique items you will find.
- Moser’s shirt
First official Athletic kit in 1902, donated by Moser, the club’s English player and captain of its third team. The batch of harlequin-style shirts from England had a half white half blue design.

- Copa de Coronación
This trophy, which was the forerunner of the current Copa, was the first trophy in Spanish football. Athletic Club, playing under the name Bizkaya, won this tournament in conjunction with Bilbao FC.
- Founding member’s card
Eduardo Montejo had the honour of being one of the thirty-three founding members of our club in 1898. He was one of the first generation of Athletic members, when the status of member was combined with that of footballer.

- Telmo Zarra’s boots
- 1905 - 1955
Zarra is the top scorer in Athletic Club’s history with 447 goals, 334 in official competitions.

- Poster in homage to Pichichi
Poster from the tribute match paid to Pichichi at San Mamés against the Arenas Club de Getxo on March 5, 1922.
Donation: Miguel Moreno Lombardero.
- Owned league trophy
- 1928 - 1943
First time the league trophy was permanently awarded to any club keep since the inauguration of the championship in 1928.
- Ball from the Copa del Rey final
It was with this ball that Athletic won their 18th cup title on May 28, 1950 after beating Real Valladolid 4-1.

- Endika’s shirt
Shirt worn in the Copa del Rey final on May 5, 1984 at the Bernabéu Stadium, Athletic Club 1 – FC Barcelona 0.

- Aritz Aduriz’s boots
The Athletic player scored five goals against Belgian side Genk in the UEFA Europa League match wearing these boots.
