BBK Bilbao Music Legends Fest, Bilbao BBK Live, Bilbao Blues Fest… June and July are filled with the best music in Bilbao, with some of the most attractive pop-rock and blues acts of the last few decades, and of the present.
BBK Bilbao Music Legends Fest
The first big festival of this summer in Bilbao will be, once again, the BBK Bilbao Music Legends Fest, which is on its way to being sold out thanks to a high-quality line-up. The veteran and famous; The Pretenders, The Jayhawks, Deep Purple, Canned Heat and The Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies will be joined by more contemporary names such as Susan Santos, one of the best exponents of blues in Spain, and Petti.
The seventh edition of the festival, sponsored by BBK and Bilbao City Council, and organised by Dekker Events, will be held on 14 and 15 June at the Bilbao Arena.
Bilbao BBK Live
Kobetamendi will host a new edition of what is considered one of the best festivals in Europe, Bilbao BBK Live. This year, its line-up combines proposals from different eras and sounds, but all very powerful. We are talking about artists such as Arcade Fire, Jungle, Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Underworld, Khruangbin and Parcels, not forgetting the likeable Grace Jones.
Bilbao BBK Live will be held this year on 11, 12 and 13 July.
Bilbao Blues Fest
This festival will bring some of the best expressions of blues in recent decades to the Biscayan capital. Martha High & The Soul Cookers, Anson Funderburg, Mike Morgan, Shawn Pittman, Ana Popovic, Big Yuyu, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, D.K. Harrell… are some of the bands and artists that will take part in this festival.
The third edition of the Bilbao Blues Fest, promoted by the Bilbao City Council, will schedule free concerts in the Arenal from 25 to 28 July.
