Since his return to Athletic, at the age of over 32, the red-and-white striker has scored 133 goals in the top flight. Before his return, and after making his debut as an athletic player in 2002, he managed to score 88 goals in the First Division with Athletic Club, RCD Mallorca and Valencia CF. Although Aduriz turned 39 this season, the fans enjoyed him as if he were only 20 years old.
