Events in Bilbao from 10th to 12th March 2023
On weekends, Bilbao multiplies its leisure offers. Museums, concerts, theatre… there are many possibilities. So many that you will need all the energy you can muster to enjoy them.
Luckily, Bilbao is also synonymous with fantastic gastronomy. A good example is San Mamés itself, where you can recharge your batteries at Geuria!, La Campa de los Ingleses (which offers a delicious brunch on weekends), San Mames Jatetxea and San Mames VIP Area, a whole four hour experience with which you can feel and experience all the pre-match atmosphere, have a perfect view of the pitch and taste the best Basque gastronomy prepared by Michelin-starred chefs from Bizkaia. So much more than you could ever imagine.
Museums
If you visit Bilbao this weekend, you shouldn’t miss out on some of the many prestigious museums in Bilbao, such as the Guggenheim Museum, with its works from the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao Collection, the Fine Arts Museum, the Archaeological, Ethnographic and Historical Basque Museum, the Museum of Artistic Reproductions, the Maritime Museum and the AC Museum, where you can discover the history of the Athletic Club in a different way, with over 1,000 original objects and videos to delve into the essence of the red & whites.
Concerts
This weekend, the Biscayan capital will be hosting numerous live concerts, such as those by Pedro Chillón, who will be playing live on 11th March at the Cotton Club. On the same day, Los Chicos del Maiz will be playing at the Santana 27, and the day after, Ma-Kaya feat Captain Leafy and Enol. Meanwhile, at the Kafe Antzokia, on March 10th, the Led Zeppelin tribute band Whole Lotta Band will perform, and one day later, the group Lowe, with their recreation of classics from the 80s.

Finally, the Campos Theatre (Teatro Campos) will be hosting monologues by Alex Clavero, Darío Orsi and Jorge Bedoya, as well as Gloria Bendita, a puppet show for adults, and Dos días en la vida, a tribute to Pau Donés.
