Take note of our schedule of events for this weekend when Athletic Club hosts Getafe CF at the San Mames stadium (Saturday 1st April, 16:15).
Events in Bilbao from the 31st March to 2nd April 2023
This weekend, the prelude to Easter, Bilbao will once again be hosting a large number of events in the city. Among them, the La Liga match that Athletic Club will play this Saturday against Getafe CF, a new challenge in the fight of Los Leones to finish the season in a European position.
A match in which the stands at San Mames will once again be tinged with red & white. If you want to go to the stadium to cheer on the team and you still don’t have your scarf, txapela, or flag for the occasion, you have our four Athletic Club shops to choose all your accessories and dress like an athleticzale. And if you don’t want to go in person, you can buy the products in the Athletic Club online shop and pick them up before the match at the San Mames shop.
Also, remember that you can enjoy the pre-match at the Geuria sports bar while you enjoy their extensive menu.
Museums
A visit to Bilbao is not complete if it is not accompanied by a visit to some of the many museums that exist in the city, such as the Guggenheim Museum, with its works from the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao Collection, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Artistic Reproductions, the Maritime Museum and the AC Museum, which is much more than just a museum, it’s the best way to delve into the history of Athletic Club and experience its essence through more than 1,000 original objects and videos.
Concerts
This weekend, the Biscayan capital also has a good number of live events, such as Andres Tejo’s concert on Friday 31st March at the Cotton Club. On the same day in the Santana 27 Hall the groups Mayo 214 and Avalanch will be playing, while the following day you can see Steve Mai and Choclock. The Kafe Antzokia will hold the groups Triames and Panduro on Friday, and Rufus T. Firefly on Saturday.
