The San Mamés esplanade will once again host a new edition of Athletic Plaza full of fun, gastronomic and musical activities, from 11:00 to 17:30, before the start of the derby between Athletic Club and Real Sociedad.

This initiative was born with the aim of creating a space for all Athleticzales to come together on match days, fostering a sense of belonging to a unique club in the world and promoting Basque culture at the same time.
The Fan Zone will include a children’s area with different fun activities such as inflatables, dribbling, human table football, txapas workshop and face painting, as well as a Gaming Zone with video games.
Also, from 12:00 to 13:30, the main stage will host a musical show for dancing aimed at children.
From 13:30 to 15:00, a fanfare will entertain those present with its music and, at the same time, a DJ will do the same from the stage. At 15:00, the Lehian Erromeria group will start performing a great repertoire of classics in Basque until 17:30. At 16:00 the bertsolaris Angel Peñagarikano and Andoni Egaña, who will take part in the traditional Bertsoderbia in Amorebieta in the morning, will delight the fans with a short session of bertsos. At its conclusion, the Lehian group will resume the entertainment until 17:30.
Throughout the day, the esplanade will host food trucks and txosnas, as well as raffles and other surprises that will be announced on the same day.
