Easter Week in Bilbao

This match coincides with the beginning of Easter Week. The capital of Bizkaia will be hosting dozens of cultural events these days thanks to the Basque Fest.

From 16th to 19th April, the city offers more than 100 activities, most of them free of charge, for all audiences: concerts, theatre, cinema, comedy monologues, traditional dances, traditional Basque sports and much more.

These days Bilbao becomes a great festive space for locals and tourists with interesting leisure proposals and a succulent gastronomic offer in different venues of the city such as the Arenal, Azkuna Zentroa, Sala BBK…

This event has six regular themes: Gourmet, Kultura, Musika, Market, Zinema and Sport, along with its more classic proposals: the kalejiras, street parties, and the dramatized routes of the ‘hosts’, the walks along the estuary with Mirentxu and Begotxu…

It also reinforces its children’s programme. The Doña Casilda Park will host daily circus workshops and theatre sessions, while the Ensanche Building will host several magic shows. Children will receive a very special visit: that of the popular and fun Gargantua on the Museum esplanade.
