BBK Bilbao Music Legends Fest, Bilbao BBK Live, Bilbao Blues Festival… for yet another summer, Bilbao is hosting these major music events, which bring together tens of thousands of people. In fact, if we take into account the figures from last year’s editions of these festivals, these three events can add up to almost 200,000 people.
BBK Bilbao Music Legends Fest
This festival takes place on 23rd and 24th June at the Bilbao Arena. This year it celebrates its sixth edition, with big international and local names, such as Chris Isaak, who has a career spanning more than three decades and thirteen studio albums, or the former lead guitarist of the hard rock and heavy metal band Scorpions, Uli Jon Roth. Not forgetting the also veterans The Cult, Canned Heat, Nikki Hill, Nikki Lane and Luke Wislow-King.
As for the Basque representation, the Basque rock band Willis Drummond, Lorelei Green, Sua, and The Daltonics, will be performing at the BBK Bilbao Music Legends Fest.
Bilbao BBK Live
Bilbao BBK Live has its central location in Kobetamendi, and is held on the 6th, 7th and 8th of July, although it has many activities also taking place during those days in other parts of the city.
