From the <strong>Magic Forest in the Arenal<\/strong> to the atmosphere of the <strong>Gran V\u00eda all lit up<\/strong>, as well as different plans, such as visiting the <strong>AC Museum in San Mam\u00e9s<\/strong>, the town is full of options to enjoy these dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>If you are going to spend <strong>Christmas in Bilbao<\/strong>, here is all the updated information: <strong>dates, times, activities<\/strong> and the best plans to enjoy these special weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Switching on of the Christmas lights in Bilbao 2025-2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>The <strong>switching on of the Christmas<\/strong> <strong>lights<\/strong> will be at <strong>8pm on<\/strong> <strong>Wednesday 26th November<\/strong> in <strong>Do\u00f1a Casilda Park<\/strong>, next to the <strong>light and sound tunnel<\/strong>. There will also be <strong>musical performances<\/strong> beforehand and the area will be filled with the <strong>Christmas spirit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>The lights will be switched on until <strong>6th January 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Christmas lights schedule<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'><strong>From 26th November 2025 to 6th January 2026:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'><strong>From 6pm to Midnight<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where to see the Christmas lights in Bilbao<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>Bilbao has once again opted for<strong> Christmas<\/strong> <strong>lights spread around all of its districts<\/strong>. Some of the most striking places are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class='swing'><strong>Fa\u00e7ade of the Town Hall<\/strong>, with its large <strong>Christmas tree<\/strong> and the traditional <strong>illuminated bauble<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class='swing'><strong>Magic Forest in the Arenal<\/strong>, with more than one hundred <strong>trees decorated<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class='swing'><strong>Gran V\u00eda<\/strong>, with its characteristic <strong>blue lights<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class='swing'>Figures of <strong>Olentzero and Mari Domingi<\/strong> in <strong>Plaza de las Mujeres<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class='swing'><strong>Golden Whale<\/strong> at <strong>Muelle de Uribitarte<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class='swing'>Big <strong>tunnel of light in Do\u00f1a Casilda Park<\/strong>, with musical shows at 6.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.30pm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class='swing'><strong>Christmas tree in Moy\u00faa<\/strong>, with light and music shows at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class='swing'><strong>Giant illuminated paving stones<\/strong>, installed in the city\u2019s eight districts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Christmas Market in Bilbao 2025-2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>The traditional <strong>Christmas market<\/strong> has changed its location this year and has moved to <strong>Do\u00f1a Casilda Park<\/strong>, in the area around the <strong>light tunnel<\/strong>.
