It is strongly recommended that fans arrive as early as possible to prevent last minute crowds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>Furthermore, in line with the recommendations of the Bilbao City Council and the Basque Government, visitors are asked to travel to San Mam\u00e9s on foot or by public transport when possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pedestrian access to San Mames<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>For those arriving on foot or by public transport, the main access routes will be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class='swing'><strong>Calle Licenciado Poza:<\/strong>\u00a0Upon reaching San Mames&#8217; outer concourse, direct access to it will be slightly diverted, so turn left and walk a few metres along Calle Bri\u00f1as to enter the concourse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class='swing'><strong>Alameda de Urquijo:<\/strong>\u00a0direct access allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class='swing'><strong>Calle Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar:<\/strong>\u00a0linking up with Zunzunegui and going down the steps from Ingenieros or going down Avenida Sabino Arana and taking Pozas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class='swing'><strong>Avenida Juan Antonio Zunzunegui:<\/strong>\u00a0down the steps outside the Ingenieros.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.athletic-club.eus\/uploads\/2025\/04\/mapa-rangers-generica-1080x1350cas.jpg?utm_source=athletic-club.eus&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=actualidad&amp;utm_content=recomendaciones-de-acceso-a-san-mames-para-el-athletic-rangers\"><\/a><br><br>Restricted access<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>It is important to bear in mind that Avenida Sabino Arana (between Plaza de Sagrado Coraz\u00f3n and Calle Felipe Serrate) and Calle Felipe Serrate (between Sabino Arana and Gate 19 of San Mam\u00e9s) will be reserved for away fans, so it will not be possible to gain access via this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>Those arriving via the Euskalduna bridge will be able to reach the Plaza de Sagrado Coraz\u00f3n on the park side, but will not be able to go up Sabino Arana. Instead, they will have to turn off onto Gran V\u00eda and continue along Mar\u00eda D\u00edaz de Haro, and from there take Licenciado Poza or Urquijo, whichever is more convenient for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Clockwise access to entrance gates<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>Access to the stadium gates will be clockwise. Gates 23, 24, 25 and 26, located at the front of the concourse, will be directly accessible after arriving via Pozas-Bri\u00f1as or Urquijo.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>After that, there are gates 1 to 13, which can be accessed in the usual way via Paseo Rafael Moreno \u2018Pitxitxi\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>Finally, to avoid accumulations in the area behind the ticket offices (gates 7 to 13), fans going to gates 14 to 20 will be advised to go down the stairs from Paseo Pitxitxi to Camino de la Ventosa and, from there, go slightly around the stadium until they reach the side where gates 14 &#8211; 20 are located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Final recommendation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class='swing'>Athletic Club requests the maximum collaboration from fans to guarantee \u00a0smooth and safe entry to the stadium.
