Important points for anyone attending Sunday night’s LaLiga EA Sports Basque Derby clash in Bilbao.

This Sunday at 21:00, San Mames hosts the LaLiga Matchday 14 fixture between Athletic Club and Real Sociedad. Below there is some useful information for all those coming to Bilbao to watch the match at The Cathedral.
STADIUM ACCESS
The gates will open at 19:30. Please try to arrive ahead of time so you can speed up your entry into the stadium, avoid last-minute crowds and enjoy the start of the match.
ACCESS WITH MEMBERSHIP CARDS
Club Members can enter the stadium with their physical membership card or with their digital membership card, while Gazte Abonoa pass-holders can use their digital card.
CARD TRANSFERS
If you would like to lease your membership card for the match, these are your options:
1. Transfer to another person:
- Via the official app (My Account section) or the Members’ Txoko (Transfer/Stadium access section).
- You can transfer your card up to two hours before kick-off (you will only be able to withdraw the transfer if it has not been accepted)
2. Transfer to the club:
- Via the official app (My Account section), the Members’ Txoko or via telephone at +34 900 909 709
- You can transfer your up to 24 hours before the match (you can only withdraw the transfer up to two hours before kick-off and if it has not been sold).
- If the seat is sold, you will get 50% of the net sale price (to be paid in a single payment at the end of the season).
* Gazte Abonoa pass holders who wish to give up their seat can do so to the club via the official app. If their seat is sold, they will receive €10 (to be paid in a single payment at the end of the season).
TICKET SALES
The San Mamés ticket office, located between Gates 6 & 7 at the stadium, will be open during the following times:
- Saturday, November 23: from 10:30-13:30 and 17:30-20:00.
- Sunday, November 24: from 10:30-13:00 and from 19:00 until kick-off.
Tickets will be available online right up until kick-off.
San Mames VIP Area: ‘Matchday Experience’ tickets are also on sale. Watch the game from San Mames’ central ring and enjoy a unique experience at The Cathedral.

SAN MAMES SHOP
The official shop (located between Gates 26 and 0 at San Mames) will be open non-stop from 10:00 until 23:45.

BARS & RESTAURANTS
You can enjoy a wide range of products at the food and drink stands (called Poza bars) throughout the stadium. You can place orders at the Online Bar up to 24 hours before kick-off. Pay online and pick up your food at an assigned stand while avoiding the half-time queues.
Come to Geuria!, the sportsbar located between Gates 13 and 14 at San Mames. From 12:30 until 00:00, you can enjoy a wide and varied menu at The Cathedral’s in-built bar while watching the game on giant screens. There will be a special Matchday menu available.
Bar La Campa de los Ingleses will be open from 09:30 until 17:30, while Restaurant San Mames Jatetxea is open from 13:00 to 15:30.
AC MUSEUM & SAN MAMES TOUR
You can visit the Athletic Club Museum (next to Gate 20) from 10:00 until 19:00. However, the final San Mames Tour of the day will start at 16:15 and finish around 17:00.
From 16:15 until 19:00, guests will only be allowed to visit the museum.
